Pool cage rescreening in New Tampa, FL
The enclosure stock in New Tampa is almost entirely 1990s through 2010s construction with large enclosures built to modern wind codes, and typical cages here run 24 to 36, among the highest counts in Hillsborough openings. Since rescreening is priced per opening rather than per square foot, that range is most of what decides your quote before anything else is considered.
What actually fails on a New Tampa cage
Roof panels, and it is not close. New Tampa cages are big, mostly two-story, and set on heavily wooded lots. That combination means the roof screens take both the full UV load and most of the falling limbs. We replace more roof panels here than anywhere else on our route.

Areas we cover in New Tampa
Across 33647 and everything between, including:
- Tampa Palms, with some of the largest enclosures in the county
- Hunter’s Green, where two-story cages are the norm rather than the exception
- Cross Creek and Live Oak Preserve, heavily wooded and hard on roof panels
- Heritage Isles and Pebble Creek, with a high proportion of screened lanai cages
- West Meadows and Arbor Greene, 1990s and 2000s aluminium generally in good order
- The Bruce B. Downs corridor north toward the Pasco line
What we see most here
Two things dominate our New Tampa work: roof screen replacement and no-see-um upgrades. The wooded lots produce midges that come straight through standard weave, and the canopy overhead produces branch impacts. Frame problems, by contrast, are genuinely rare out here.
Services available in New Tampa
All nine, at identical pricing to everywhere else we work. Full cage rescreening and panel replacement are the most requested, with roof screen repair close behind. We also handle pet-resistant mesh, no-see-um screening, Florida Glass kick plates, frame repair, cage doors and storm damage.
Pricing in New Tampa
Identical to the rest of the service area, because price follows the cage rather than the postcode. Wall panels $35 to $65, roof and gable panels $55 to $95, kick plates $70 to $130. Full single-story rescreens run $1,100 to $2,000 and two-story $1,900 to $3,400. Any frame work is quoted separately and itemised so you can see exactly what is mesh cost and what is aluminium.

We also cover Tampa, Temple Terrace, Wesley Chapel and Lutz, all inside the same no-trip-charge radius. The full service area list has all sixteen communities across Hillsborough and south Pasco.
Questions
New Tampa pool rescreening FAQs
Panel count and height, not location. Enclosures in Tampa Palms, Hunter’s Green and Cross Creek routinely run thirty-plus panels and are frequently two-story. That is a genuinely larger job than an eighteen-panel single-story cage, and it usually means two days on site.
More often than most of the county. The wooded lots around Live Oak Preserve, Cross Creek and Heritage Isles produce midges that come straight through standard 18x14. Most homeowners put no-see-um on the two or three worst walls rather than the whole cage.
Sun plus canopy. Roof screens already take roughly double the UV load of wall panels, and heavy tree cover adds falling limbs on top of that. New Tampa produces more roof panel replacements than anywhere else on our route for exactly that reason.
It gets checked, and it almost always passes. New Tampa construction is newer, inland with no salt exposure, and built to tighter wind codes. Frame problems here are far less common than in Carrollwood or South Tampa, so most jobs are straight rescreens.
Two days for most two-story enclosures here, given the panel count and the staging needed for roof access. Single-story cages are a one-day job. We give a firm window at the panel count rather than promising same-day on a thirty-four panel structure.
Identical to the rest of our service area: wall panels $35 to $65, roof panels $55 to $95, single-story full cages $1,100 to $2,000 and two-story $1,900 to $3,400. Price follows panel count, cage height, mesh grade and frame condition rather than your ZIP code.
New Tampa (33647) is on our normal route, so no. If you are just outside our service area we will tell you honestly whether the drive works for your panel count before quoting rather than padding the number.
Panel counts usually within 24 to 48 hours. Single panels are typically same week. Full cage rescreens run one to two weeks out under normal conditions. After a named storm everything stretches, so calling early puts you in the queue at the right position.
Two years on workmanship and spline installation, identical across all sixteen communities we cover. That includes mesh pulling loose from a channel, panels going slack and spline backing out. New storm, branch or pet damage is repaired at our normal per-panel rate.
All nine: full rescreening, panel replacement, roof screen repair, pet-resistant mesh, no-see-um mesh, Florida Glass kick plates, frame repair, cage doors and storm damage repair. Every one at the same pricing as everywhere else we work.
